Solo exhibition of the fashion photographer Paolo Roversi, with memories and unpublished images from his own archive. A special section of the exhibition is dedicated to his work for the Pirelli 2020 Calendar.
Timeless, mysterious and charming women are often the subject of his portraits, suggesting romantic atmosphere and something disturbing at the same time, in a balance between desire and discovery. His work often proceeds by subtraction, with special care to investigate the most intimate aspect of the subject and not just the external appearance.
Portrait photographer best known for his striking, intimate portraiture and classical visual language, he has worked with some of the most famous models and movie stars. His photographs have been published internationally in magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Vanity Fair.
He has collaborated with leading fashion houses, creating images for brands as Comme des Garçons, Dior, Armani, and Chanel.
Born in Ravenna, where he opened his first studio in his youth, he still maintains an affective relationship with his homeland that is renewed with each return.
