Closure of the museum

We inform that, in compliance with Prime Ministerial Decree of 14 January 2021 and the Order of the Minister of Health of 19 February 2021, from 22 February 2021 and as long as the Emilia-Romagna Region remains in the orange zone, the exhibition will remain closed, subject to further government provisions.

 

After the recent artistic interventions made by Nicola Samorì and Nicola Verlato and after the forced stop due to pandemic, the Ascoltare Bellezza itinerary returns, hosting another important Italian painter: Piero Pizzi Cannella, protagonist of Dante's homage to the Ravenna city.

From February 10th  to  March 17th 2021, Cathedral N.018 / Winter Solstice, the big painting  willl be exposed in the Mosaic's room of Clssense Library A moment of artistic meditation that accompanies and concludes the winter season and leads us to the awaited spring.

The exhibition is promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Ravenna, Classense Library Institution, MAR Art Museum of the city of Ravenna and  curated by Paolo Trioschi.
