guided tour to explore the animated Mosaic Contemporary Collection
The Collection of Contemporary Mosaics MAR newly rearranged and enriched with educational panels thanks to the valuable work of research and enhancement of CIDM documents the rebirth of mosaic art in Ravenna in the last 90 years going even to the most recent developments in the field of contemporary mosaic international. By cartons designed for the restoration of the basilicas of Ravenna between the two World Wars to the activity of the great masters of the twentieth century such as Chagall, Mathieu, Vedova and Guttuso, you come to the artistic results of today.
The animated visit to the Collection wants to take the kids to discover the mosaic works and preparatory cartoons and how the Mosaic tradition of Ravenna has evolved over time and is still alive and well today.
